Recomended Uses
Direct application to concrete floors.
Surface Preparation
New work and previously painted surfaces to be prepared in line of National
Home Builders Regulations (NHBRC), ASTM, ISO and SABS Standards
- Ensure that surfaces are sound and free from dust, oil, grease, dirt and debris.
- Surfaces must be thoroughly dry-no more than 15% moisture content.
- Remove loose and flacking paint with scraper.
- To kill lichen and algae growth, scrub with solution of 4:1 water/chlorine or 4:1 water/sodium hypochlorite.
- Rinse thoroughly and allow drying.
- Concrete cement:
- Ensure concrete is fully cured.
- Remove un-cured cement dust, debris and chalky residue with high-pressure washing or scrubbing using a bristle brush and water.
- Use directly on non-porous surface. On all absorbent surface such as cement and concrete, reduce the viscosity up to 10%.
- Apply a thin coat and allow to dry before applying a second coat of non-diluted standard coating.
Application Instructions
Before use, mix the paint using a 50 to 75mm spiral mixer or shake smaller containers until a
homogeneous solution is obtained
Use with brush or roller When painting porous surfaces thinning (10-15%) is recommended for first coat
The ideal application conditions are a surface and ambient temperature of between 10°C to 35°C (and at least 2°C above dew point), with a maximum relative humidity of 50%

Biological Control
Areas of algae, mildew or fungus should be treated first before painting

Application tools and equipment can be cleaned with water
